Handbag shop Amsterdam | Museum of Bags Amsterdam

Museum Shop

After seeing the world’s most remarkable bags, you’re going to want one for yourself.

The museum shop at the Museum of Bags Amsterdam is so much more than just a museum shop. It’s where we’ve collected some of the most unique, elegant and trendy bags, purses and accessories, so that you can bring a little piece of the museum home with you.

We’ve created quite a few handbag enthusiasts with our one-of-a-kind museum. To stimulate that enthusiasm, we fill our handbag shop with a specially selected collection of the finest Dutch and international designs. From postcards to purses, from books to bags, your visit to the museum isn’t complete without a stop in our shop.

Handbags for every you

Step inside and discover a bag for every occasion: elegant clutches and practical laptop bags, sturdy everyday handbags and classically chic evening bags. We’re certain your favourite bag is waiting for you here.

Whether you like hip and trendy or traditional bags, you’ll find them here. Prefer eccentric designs and materials? We’ve got those, too. All of the highest quality and to our exacting standards.

Local and global superstars

Our bags shop in Amsterdam brings together a collection of international designers like Gianni Chiarinni and Rocco Barocco, with Dutch designers like Hester van Eeghen and Marck & Mo.

Dutch Design

Our regularly changing collection includes bags created by national and international up-and-coming designers, as well as well-known ones. Many featured designers exemplify the principles of ‘Dutch Design’: minimalistic, experimental, innovative, unconventional, and with a touch of humour.

Find handbags inspired by everything from geometry to architecture, and those that stay true to the most time-tested principles of handbag design.

Best museum shop in Amsterdam

In 2014, Dutch newspaper Het Parool called our museum shop ‘The Best in Amsterdam’, because of our varied selection of clutches, bags, gifts and more. But also for our knowledgeable, friendly staff, who are eager to help you find the bag of your dreams.
