The Small Period Room
The Small Period Room of the Museum of Bags and Purses dates back to the 17th century. When you step into the room, your attention is immediately drawn to the painted ceiling, depicting the City Virgin of Amsterdam, surrounded by the four continents that were known at the time. Another point of interest, is the striking and beautifully decorated chimney piece. In this room, you might easily imagine yourself going back in time to the glory days of Dutch art.
The Small Period Room is pleasantly intimate. Its size makes it perfect for parties, receptions and other events for less than 40 persons.
